I could describe the colorized charcoal drawings with some artsy statement like this...

Endogenesis; to generate from within. This series of images is a meditation on the universality of repeated patterns and forms within nature. The drawings take inspiration from the way living structures achieve their complexity through intrinsic growth and inherited traits. Here, matter and energy interact in increasingly complex systems that often result in self-similar or self-recursive solutions on multiple scales. This study of the structures in the world allows for a meditation on the size, complexity and beauty of nature. Through imitation of myth and art we transcend ourselves when we look upon the world.

or I could say that I'm experimenting with charcoal and "digital coloring techniques".
